  • – 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • – 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
  • – 5 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
  • – 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • – 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • – 1/4 teaspoon of saffron threads
  • – Salt and pepper to taste salt/pepper

Recipe steps

1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, sauté the onion and garlic in a little bit of olive oil until softened.
